Mashovhela Lodge would like to extend a warm welcome to all the teams and their fans that were drawn to play at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

At the official World Cup draw held in Cape Town this evening it was announced that the following teams would be playing in Polokwane: Mexico, France, Argentina, Greece, Algeria, Slovenia, Paraguay, New Zealand

Peter Morrison, Marketing Manager for Mashovhela Lodge says “These are the lucky fans as they get to see a part of the country, that is not on the major tourism route, but if offers spectacular scenery, authentic culture and incredible wildlife. Fans who don’t have teams playing in Polokwane will just have to venture into our region pre or post the tournament.”

Mashovhela Lodge in the Soutpansberg is opening its doors to football fans and has a number of packages available over this period which can be viewed in our "Package" section of this website

Mashovhela Gears up for World Cup draw

With less than a week to go before the World Cup 2010 draw on the 4th December Mashovhela Lodge, situated just North of Polokwane in the Soutpansberg, is well prepared with excellent packages for football fans that will be supporting their teams at the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane.

With 4 group games taking place in Polokwane, we have developed a number of different packages for the supporters of the 8 different countries that will be playing up north. These include a straight in and out option as well as packages that include a Venda culture experience linked with a big 5 experience either in the Kruger National Park, Timbavati or Tuli Game Reserve.

We feel that every fan will not only want to see his team play but will also want to experience authentic culture and Africa’s wildlife, and this is exactly what we are offering and at a very affordable rate.

The packages on offer by Mashovhela Lodge can also be booked as a pre or post world cup trip for fans that aren’t fortunate enough to have their team playing in Polokwane.
