Lokovhela is situated on top of the Soutpansberg Mountains on Morning Sun Nature Reserve, a Natural Heritage Site, which has crystal clear mountain streams, waterfalls, indigenous forests and spectacular scenery.

Warm days allow for walking and picnics or just to relax in the tranquillity of the lodge next to our swimming pool. For the cooler evenings and when the mountain mist comes in you can sink into a sofa in front of a wood fire.

It is also ideally situated to explore the area as northern Kruger National Park, Mapungubwe World heritage site as well as Venda, which is full of scared sites, legends, spirits and stunning scenery are all in striking distance.

A 1-day Venda Culture or Venda Arts and Crafts Tour can be organised, which are fascinating and well worth the experience
